Briar, Marsh Teal Strider von Aurichalcum, dob. 10:09:99, pictured above at 10 weeks old.

Briar was bought purely as a working bitch. Her training is coming along very well, although a
few obstacles have had to be overcome along the way! A staunch and natural pointer. She was
shown once and qualified for Crufts, but obviously is much happier when out hunting, and
does not enjoy the showring particularly, so will not be shown in the future. A very sensitive
and loving dog. Hopefully more working tests and field trials might be a possibility in 2004.
